Overview

An event entirely unique to golf, The Aramco Team Series consists of 36 teams made up of 3 pro’s and 1 amateur with scores from all four contributing to the final result. The inaugural event in London kicks off a global schedule with three other Aramco Team Series events spanning the globe heading to Sotogrande, New York and finishing with the finale in Jeddah. The $1m prize purse per event makes the series the second most lucrative regular LET events on the 2021 schedule and includes innovative elements like the pre-event team draft where pre-determined Team Captains select their teammates.

Growing the Game

Whilst in Saudi Arabia for the Aramco Team Series, Ladies European Tour players Olivia Cowan & Marianne Skarpnord visit Safaa Golf Club which is part of the facilities at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology. The pair spend time at a junior golf clinic sharing tips and tricks as part of Golf Saudi’s effort to grow the game in the kingdom.
