Ryder Cup 2023: Brooks Koepka posts the ultimate PGA Tour-LIV troll job
After a drama-filled Ryder Cup week in which a nasty rumor spread about the United States team being "FRACTURED," Brooks Koepka made his own joke about the Americans splitting up. And he even included props!
Following Sunday's conclusion of the Ryder Cup, Koepka posted a photo on X (formerly Twitter) of himself and four other players (Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Max Homa and Sam Burns) beneath a sign saying "CAPTAIN'S OFFICE" while wearing blue Smash GC shirts. Have a look!
What a masterful troll job.
In case you don't get the joke, Koepka is the captain of LIV's Smash GC team. And the picture indicates he used his position as the lone LIV representative in Italy to recruit a few PGA Tour stars to his squad. Again, what a prankster!
Of course, not everyone on social media was thrilled with this. Even with the potential PGA Tour-LIV partnership. And especially since the post came shortly after the Americans got drubbed by Europe. But if we can be sure of anything, it's that Brooks doesn't care what anyone thinks.
