PGA Tour wife wins Halloween, daggers husband (yet again) with perfect family costume
There were plenty of memorable moments from the 2022-2023 PGA Tour season, but it's tough to top the finish at the Canadian Open—and what happened in the immediate aftermath.
In case you don't remember, Nick Taylor ended the home country's drought in the event by beating Tommy Fleetwood in a playoff with a 72-foot eagle putt, the longest make of his career. That sent just about everyone at Oakdale Golf & Country Club into a frenzy, including fellow Canadian tour pro Adam Hadwin. But when Hadwin ran out on the green with a bottle of champagne to celebrate, he was absolutely flattened by a security guard.
Fortunately, no (serious) injuries were sustained, but it was just an unreal scene. And one that all golf fans—including Adam's wife, Golf Twitter legend Jessica Hadwin—had plenty of fun with over the following days.
Anyway, Jessica was still having a bit of fun at Adam's expense on Halloween as the family came up with the perfect group costume. Check it out:
Nailed it. I mean, that's flawless execution with Jessica, wearing the same outfit from that day, playing the role of Adam, and Adam playing the role of the security guard/outside linebacker. And then you have daughter Maddox playing Nick Taylor.
Well played, Hadwins. You can call off the best costume contest because that's a clear winner right there.
