“Although not a household name, Monroe is an excellent Donald Ross design near Rochester with a recent Tyler Rae renovation making it even better. One of the better courses in Upstate NY, this course features extremely strong conditions and greens and is a tough layout for good players, hosting one of the premier amateur events in the country annually. The 4th, 5th, and 13th are standout holes and this is a great course for walking with a cohesive and well laid-out routing. This is a course you could play everyday and be happy."
