LIV wife wishes Rory McIlroy's Ryder Cup altercation went further

The Ryder Cup is over. Team Europe won on Sunday 16½-11½, but the drama and chaos haven’t waned in the slightest. Now, Pat Perez’s wife Ashley has joined the fray through the Instagram comments, which is rarely a good idea.
As a quick reminder (since the Marco Simone hubbub feels like decades ago), Rory McIlroy lost his cool outside the clubhouse while yelling and pointing at someone in the car park. This was after McIlroy became animated during a dust-up with Joe LaCava over the waving of a hat.
He was ultimately held back by Shane Lowry with Jim "Bones" Mackay stepping in to play peacemaker. This furious back-and-forth over an American caddie’s hat-waving was watched by many, most notably Ashley Perez.
“I can’t possibly be the only one that would absolutely love to watch Rory get punched in the face 🙂,” Perez commented. “I mean that in the nicest way possible… kinda 🙃.”
Well, that’s certainly a take. And, it’s not the first time that the LIV wife has let her *interesting* opinions be known to the world through Instagram. She had some thoughts on Tiger Woods’ 2021 car crash and even went out of her way to ridicule Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele’s wine trip.
